Marcus Jade is a blues musician, songwriter, and poet. Born in Indiana, he currently lives in Brooklyn, NY. Since moving to New York City, he zeroed in on his love for blues music, and began writing and performing as a solo act. A tremendous presence in the Brooklyn DIY music scene, Jade has also performed at hundreds of Artery shows across the country. His music cuts to the heart of blues, staying true to its roots while seamlessly incorporating modern elements of folk and rock and roll.

Marcus's entry into NPR's 2022 Tiny Desk Contest caught the attention of the producers, which led to an interview with Scott Simon on NPR's Weekend Edition. Listen here to the song, Legs and Bones, and hear Marcus share his insights into his life and what inspires him musically.

Fun-loving, high energy bluegrass music from Bluegrass Collusion, a band led by Virginia native, Tara Linhardt. Originals and classics, instrumentals and songs, all danceable and highly entertaining! Tara Linhardt, Mary Simpson, and Christian Apuzzo team up to create a smoking hot musical adventure.

Open Bluegrass Jam

Tara's Bluegrass Jam will take place right after the Bluegrass Collusion performance. Bring your instruments and join in!

Virginia native Tara Linhardt teaches and performs mandolin and guitar all over the world, and is famous in New York City for her rousing bluegrass jams at the Punch Bowl. Tara's jams are open to musicians of all levels: amateurs, students, pros, and even beginners.

Mary Simpson also hails from Virginia where she honed her bluegrass chops as well as her talents in many other musical genres. She tours the world with Yanni, and leads her own blugrass band: The Whiskey Rebellion.

Multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and audio engineer Grace Leckey grew up singing hymns and Americana in a Catholic folk choir. Her debut album Best Supporting Actress explores encounters with Divinity through rejecting traditional scripts and growing up to live and love with authenticity. She is joined at Porch Stomp by her dear friend and collaborator Jessie Bittner.
